The Georgia Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation will hold their annual Atlanta “Take Steps” Walk on May 21 at Brook Run Park. Far too often, our patients suffer in silence, but “Take Steps” is changing that by bringing the inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) community together publicly and encouraging them to fight back. The Emory Digestive Diseases Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) group has been an active participant in the walk for more than five years. This year, the goal is to raise $10,000 and to bring as many participants out to the walk as we can. Please consider joining us in support of the walk! You can donate either money or your time–we appreciate anything you can give.
