Colleen Kraft, MD, appointed to Georgia coronavirus task force

Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp recently announced a coronavirus task force to assess the state’s preparations and procedures for preventing, identifying, and addressing cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Governor Kemp made the announcement following a morning call with Vice President Mike Pence about the Trump Administration’s efforts to facilitate interagency cooperation and proactive measures to mitigate COVID-19’s impact.

Colleen Kraft, MD, associate professor in the Department of Medicine’s Division of Infectious Diseases and director of Emory’s Clinical Virology Research Laboratory, was appointed to the 18-member task force.
