Division of Hospital Medicine research team wins American College of Physicians national competition

The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce that a Division of Hospital Medicine research team has won the American College of Physicians Early Career Physician Oral Presentation for Clinical Research national abstract competition.

The research team was led by David Minkoff, MD, assistant professor, and included assistant professors Yelena Burklin, MD; Bashir Geer, MD; Patricia Hwang, MD; Prathima Pangulur, MD; and Malia Willis, MD. Traci Leong, PhD, research assistant professor in the Department of Biostatics at Rollins School of Public Health, was also a collaborator on the project.
