Tell us about yourself. Where are you from?
I am a Georgia native, raised in Alpharetta, Georgia.

What is your professional background?
I have over 18 years of administrative experience. As well as years of experience in leadership, healthcare administration, and medical billing/coding.

What is your role at Emory?
I am the business manager for the Division of Cardiology. I manage our administration staff and assist with managing office operations and finance. I love being that person in the background keeping things running as smoothly as possible.

How long have you worked in the Department of Medicine?
I am happy to say I have been with Emory University and the Division of Cardiology for 10 years. In 2013, I started as an office assistant and was given the opportunity to gain experience and advance within the division.

What are you currently working on? Any upcoming projects? 
Currently, I am assisting with this year’s budget for the division. I am excited about becoming more involved in financial operations and am open to other projects to expand my knowledge in business management.

What do you like to do for fun outside of work?
In my spare time, I love DIY projects, but spending time with my husband and our four girls is what I enjoy most.
