The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce that Allison (Allie) J. Crouch will join the Division of Cardiology as the new division administrator, effective May 20.
As the administrator, Crouch will be responsible for all University-based division activities within the Division of Cardiology, including development and administration of University/SOM budgets, financial analysis, grants and contracts, faculty compensation and recruitment, faculty practice operations at Grady, space management, and human resources management.
Crouch is not new to Emory or the School of Medicine, she comes to the Department of Medicine from the Dean’s Office Strategic Initiatives team where she managed multiple projects supporting the academic, education, and research missions of the SOM. Before joining the School of Medicine, Crouch served as the Director of Operations & Strategic Planning for the national Cardiac Arrest Registry to Enhance Survival (CARES) Program, a non-profit research program and technology platform based out of Emory University.
Before graduating with a Masters of Business Administration from Emory’s Goizueta Business School, Crouch received her Masters in Public Health with a focus on Health Behavior and Health Education from The University Of North Carolina At Chapel Hill. She received her Bachelors in Health Science from Furman University where she was named Cum Laude and was team captain of the women’s soccer team.
