The 22nd Annual Resident Research Day took place on Tuesday, April 15. Each year, the J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency Program hosts this annual event to showcase residents’ research achievements and celebrate the collaboration between residents and dedicated faculty.
Resident Research Day featured a keynote presented by Sara Turbow, MD, (General Internal Medicine), titled “From Scratch to Success: A Recipe for a Career in Research & Medicine,” and resident oral presentations from three of our residents (listed below). The event also included three resident oral presentations and 95 poster presentations. Residents submitted 118 clinical vignettes and research abstracts for blind peer review. Please see below for this year’s Resident Research Day winners as reviewed by our 14 DOM faculty members.
Congratulations to all of our presenters on their extraordinary work!
